STAUFF FORM EVO MACHINE
As a full-range supplier in hydraulic connection technology, Stauff has developed a tube forming system. The produced connections in accordance with DIN 2353 / ISO 8434-1 serve as an alternative solution to the well-known systems of other market participants. They are assembled using three components: a DIN union nut, a DIN fitting body, and the Stauff Form seal made of FPM, together with the pre-formed tube end.
Sealing is achieved through a form-fit connection using an elastomer seal with a large cross-section, which maximizes safety even in the presence of unfavorable tolerances.
This robust benchtop unit is designed for continuous series use in workshop environments and allows for particularly small insertion depths compared to alternative systems, enabling even tighter bending radii for the tubing.
High operational efficiency is ensured through short cycle times. Operation is performed via a touchscreen that provides text output in German, English, Spanish, and Italian.
Thanks to the well-thought-out tooling concept with interchangeable internal mandrels developed by the manufacturer, the number of required tools is reduced to a minimum, while still covering a wide range of tube dimensions. This applies to all metric tube sizes from 6 x 1.5 mm up to 42 x 4 mm in the light series and up to 38 x 6 mm in the heavy series.
Short tool change and setup times are guaranteed, as forming nozzles, clamping jaws, and internal mandrels can be quickly and easily exchanged without additional tools. By default, the tools are suitable for both steel and stainless steel hydraulic tubes.
